Fish Oil-Fats

We all are likely not getting the right amount if Fish Oil fats in our diets. Omega 6 and Omega 3 fatty acids are very necessary for life. Our hearts and brains must have them.
The Omega 3s that naturally occur in our foods are getting lower and lower.The result is that we get high levels of Omega 6 and low levels of Omega 3. This is an unhealthy situation.
It causes inflammation, the root of many health issues today. Two are heart disease and arthritis.
A good Fish Oil product is properly balanced.
In the past meat and fish had plenty of Omega 3. Now some Salmon has very little of this essential Fish Oil. This is not good news for our bodies. Your body can not make Omega 3.
Without this Fish Oil your heart disease risk goes through the roof.
With low levels expect these risks to be high:
Diabetes
Arthritis
Stroke
Skin disorders
Macular degeneration
Heart disease
Depression
Balance in nature is very important. Balance within your body is just as important. A balance between Omega 3 and Omega 6 (found in Fish Oil) needed in the correct ratio.
Up until lately this ratio has been 2:1 Omega 6 and Omega 3. Omega 6 in our diets has gone up greatly and sits at 20:1. Most Americans consume 10 times the healthy amount of Omega 6 needed for good health. Main sources are vegetable oils, grain fed beef products and processed food products.
Fish Oil is a very good source of these Omega fatty acids.
This is interesting. The health "Gurus" of the 1980's failed to distinguish the fact that grain fed beef as apposed to grass fed beef had huge amounts of Omega 6. Commercial cattle today have the 20:1 Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratio.
So they labeled red meat as the reason people developed heart disease, completely overlooking the fact that early culture that ate grass fed beef never had a single case of heart disease.
Fish Oil is a good source of these needed nutrients.
Measured levels of Omega 6 to Omega 3 in grass fed beef is dramatically different. Typically the ratio is 0.16 to 1. So it goes to say it depends on how the beef was raised.
Cattle are not supposed to eat grain. This makes them sick. This changes their physiology. Its not natural. When cattle lose the Omega 3 we gain little the meat. We then take on the same problems they have by eating their meat.
This same situation applies to farm raised Salmon as explained above. They are fed fish flakes(Gold fish food). The results are the same. A bad ratio of Omegas. This is totally unnatural. The Salmon are not living and developing in their natural environment, sick fish is what you get.
Eating wild Salmon and grass fed beef can be expensive. Supplementation is our best option for restoring natural Omega 3 fatty acids. Using cod liver oil works the best. Cod liver oil is inexpensive also.
Your body needs a steady supply of Fish Oil and you have almost endless benefits.
